Lendal Tower is a 700 year old scheduled historic monument on the water’s edge in the heart of York. This celebrated ancient site is one of York’s most important landmark buildings.
Now part of the de Bretton Private Collection Lendal Tower is one of the world’s unique places to stay, and get married!
- Arrive by Art Deco lift to the magnificent oak panelled room at the top of the Tower where your guests will be waiting and where the ceremony will take place
- Photographs on the roof of the Tower with its splendid Minster, city and river views and in the garden under the weeping elm tree (which was reputedly taken from a cutting from a tree besides Napoleon’s grave)
- Lunch for up to 25 guests in the Tower
- Private evening drinks party in the Garden followed by Dinner at the Tower
- Bride & Groom to have the Tower exclusively to themselves for the night
- Guests to stay at the other fully serviced apartments at the Lendal Tower complex and/or at Marmadukes Hotel
- Champagne breakfast in bed for the Bride & Groom
